Meeting background

iNEMI is hosting a European webinar to review the automotive and medical PEG (product emulator group) chapters of the 2011 iNEMI Roadmap.  We hope to get the European perspective on these two product sectors and to identify any key issues or product requirements that may have been overlooked.  This feedback will be included in the PEG chapters as they are being developed.  The PEG chapters will then be presented to the 21 TWGs (technology working groups) for their use as “needs” drivers of their respective technologies as they evolve over the ten-year horizon of the roadmap.  The webinar will:

  • Feature speakers from the respective PEGs
  • Review key technology drivers from each chapter and compare with European industry requirements to identify gaps
  • Discuss next steps
  • Collect feedback for the final chapter documents and/or emulator spreadsheets

Meeting objectives

  • Identify issues and needs from the European perspective not already addressed (gaps)
  • Recruit European participation
  • Collect input and discuss options

Who should attend

European automotive & medical company middle management and senior technical leaders whose responsibilities include:

  • Advanced technology development
  • Process development for manufacturing/test
  • Product strategy and development
  • Reliability
  • Logistics/supply chain managers
  • Senior component engineers

Benefits of participation

Your participation will help ensure that these chapters reflect the European perspective on product drivers in these two important areas. You will also get an advanced look at these two chapters’ highlights as presented early in the roadmap development cycle.
