He is a 26-year veteran of Intel Corporation, and he brings to iNEMI a wide range of experience, including factory management for high-volume production, new product development, hardware and software design and test, and assembly and test technology development. He also served as Intel’s representative on the iNEMI Technical Committee from 1998 to 2005.
Mr. Bader began his career at Intel in 1979 as a test engineer and, when he retired in 2005, was General Manager of Systems Manufacturing Technology Development (SMTD). Throughout his tenure, Mr. Bader provided leadership and direction across multiple engineering skill sets and capabilities ranging from technology path-finding in assembly and test to process technology development and deployment into Intel’s manufacturing facilities as well as the company’s network of manufacturing partners worldwide.
Under his leadership, Mr. Bader’s organization won two Intel Quality Awards by demonstrating true operational excellence, making SMTD a leader within the Technology and Manufacturing Group at Intel. After retiring from Intel in 2005, Mr. Bader was a partner in Pac Rim Homes and Pac Rim Properties, a builder and developer in Portland, Oregon and southwest Washington. He also provided management consulting to multiple technology start-ups, including business plan development to support the pursuit of investor funding and resource acquisition.
